MISSION OPPORTUNITY IN MISSOURI - August 22nd.
Outreach to MIGRANT WORKERS in DOVER, MO
Heartland will be joining Doug Fritts, our Gideon representative.
We are collecting hygiene items to distribute
as we share the Gospel and distribute Bibles.
Example: toothbrushes, toothpaste, bar soap, shampoo, deodorant, etc..
Please donate by placing your items in the Gathering Area.

One Day Mission Opportunity at the Fair
West Central Baptist Association’s days at the MBS’s State Fair Tent is August 16-23.
Helpers are needed to do face painting, make balloon animals, power ban bracelets
and use them to share the gospel with fairgoers.

We have been praying for Tom and Alberta Spaid, Rene’ Driscoll’s
mom & stepfather as he faced some unknown medical issues.
They live in Alaska and had to seek medical treatment in Washington.:
This is the message they sent:
“You didn’t have to do what you did
. . . and that’s what made it so special.
Thank You.
Thank You for helping us with our flight to Seattle.
Our stay ended up being two weeks with all the medical procedures.
They didn’t find cancer.
We were sent home with antibiotics to see if they would shrink
the mass in his lungs; it worked.
Now they are concerned about blood clots in his veins;
so he’s on blood thinners to dissolve them.
I’m sure Tene will keep you informed.
I know it was hard for her and Jim to say good-bye.
They will really miss all of you.
We are truly grateful for all your prayers, and generosity.
The world is a better place because of people like you.
Thank You. God Bless You.”

We have several dishes and misc cookware that needs to be claimed.
If you are missing a lid, a spoon or some type of dish . . .
we may have it in the kitchen.

We have several prayer requests for family and loved ones.
Be assured we always pray over the requests that come in on Wednesday evenings.
Please let us know your concerns and we will pray for them.
